For this project, I am exploring embroidery through printmaking: reusing and reworking my stitched samplers. I am experimenting with ways of using the tones and textures created from my embroidery within screen-printing: analysing and integrating historic printing methods with my contemporary design ideas.

These experiments fuse my gold-work embroidery of Boris Johnson, my embroidered maps of Ireland, Scotland & Wales, my Brexit crossword puzzle design on a background of stencilled work. These artworks highlight and reference the break up of the 'UK' and the aftermath of Brexit.
